“ Had miso ramen here. Really delicious! It had two kinds of mushrooms, sprouts, and a slice of meat. The menu is simple and I was able to order without speaking Japanese. The prices are low for the good quality. As for accessibility, the door is wide enough for a wheelchair but navigating through the door may be difficult. The toilet is not wide enough for a wheelchair. ”

“ Lovely place. He opened at 6pm for dinner when we visited. Ordered the Set B (ramen + tamago don) and the burnt soya sauce ramen. Excellent flavour and noodles were QQ; burnt soya sauce broth was unique so I'd recommend that one. Also ordered his homemade gyoza which was really yummy too! The restaurant is run by one man, who seems to be very hardworking. So just gotta be patient with the service. English menus are available, he saw us using Google Translate and handed us the english one haha. ”
“ Stumbled upon this quaintly and cosy ramen shop run by a friendly and hardworking couple. Gyoza was delightful and ordered 3 types of ramen, burnt soy sauce, spicy miso and chashu miso. The flavour of each broth was good in their own right and noodle texture was springy and cooked just right. ”

“ Is a small quaint restaurant run by an elderly man. He was very friendly and have english menus. The price was so reasonable and the portion of the ramen were huge! The food was so delicious too. The gyoza and dumplings were delicious and handmade. All the food is made fresh when you order. Have parking in front of the store as well. Highly recommend! ”
“ Hoshinoki no ramen hontoni SAIKO desu! Hoshinoki has some really amazing items such as the "burnt" shoyu ramen, or their black sesame ramen. The soup bases are rich, comforting and the flavours really come out strong and unique. Its something that can only be developed by a skillful chef with time and effort to produce such levels of soup bases. My only sadness is that this place is not well known to many people, and not located in big cities like Tokyo where more people can get a taste of his kami-sama level of cullinary craftsmanship. Hoshinoki is run by a single grandpa and each bowl is made from scratch so do expect a bit of a wait for each serving but trust me, its really worth the wait. Special mention to grandpa's fried rice, daisuki desu! Gochizosama deshita! ”
